Daniel Burton of Pollard Point, White Bay, more affectionately known as “Uncle Dan” by local residents is pictured holding a brace of rabbits that he snared near his retirement home in that community. This father of 18, grandfather to 43 and great grandfather to 26 is still active at nearly 90 years of age and resides with his wife Margaret at the Main River retirement home.
