R.D.F. – Rain, Drizzle, Fog
This is a copy of a poem I wrote about our lovely weather this year. It is one of a collection. I am hoping to publish soon. If you would like to put it in your magazine, that would be wonderful. Thank you for the opportunity. I enjoy reading your book each month.
R.D.F.
Rain, Drizzle, Fog
R is for the rain that's pouring,
from the Heavens above today
It's been like this all summer
So could you please take it away
D is for the drizzle, that
continues to hang on
To dampen all our spirits
Long after the rain is gone
F is for the cold, damp fog,
that chills us to the core
And makes you want to yell
and scream
"I can't take this anymore."
RDF, RDF
is the order of the day. When the sun comes out, to
take a look
It didn't want to stay.
