Post Office Box
Here's a story about my grandson Aaron. Since preschool
he's been able to state his full name, complete address and home phone number. Now 5 and in kindergarten, he is learning to print it. One day while visiting us, his Aunt Sarah gave him a pencil and some paper and told him she would help him to write his address. He eagerly insisted that he already knew how to do it. When he was finally done, she inspected his work and saw that he had drawn a tiny "square" next to the number 49. What's that, Aaron?" she asked. "Oh, that's a box", he said, "coz my address is box 49". Yep, kids say the darndest things and we have more than our share of these funny moments. He eeps us laughing.
