Port Lockroy
I am a former Gander resident now living in PEI. I went to Antarctica December 2013/January 2014 and think it is the December 2013 issue I am holding in the pictures.
This was taken at Port Lockroy which is one of the most popular tourist stops in Antarctica.
Located on Goudier Island, Base A is a former British station turned museum. Until about 1931, Port Lockroy was a major harbour for whalers.
