Placentia Cranberries
This photo is of May English’s cranberries, picked in Placentia, NL. She makes delicious cranberry jelly from the berries (even though for a full year I refused to believe that cranberries grew in Newfoundland!) So when she told me that October was cranberry-picking season, I had to go pick some myself to believe it. Sure enough, they grew in a field not far from her house. I didn’t realize it would be such hard work to pick them, now I am even more appreciative of my cranberry jelly! Submitted By: NULL
