This photo was taken in Flowers Cove. The preservation area is known now as "white rocks" but when my mother was a wee girl this is where her dad and lots of the other locals used to have their wood piles. My mom was amazed to see the creeping juniper and other plant life growing out of the rock crevices. It's quite the sight to see, worth stopping if you are driving by.   Submitted By: carol hamblin
