My name is Aletha Ricketts. We lived in Labrador City for 30 years. My children were born and raised there. Each year we would come home to Bonavista on vacation and my children would have to have a picture taken with John Cabot on Cape Bonavista. This year my daughter Melanie who is now living in Texas came home to get married. She got married on Cape Bonavista and had to do what she did every year before, have her picture taken with John Cabot. Here is a picture of her and her husband, Trey Herndon.
