Phobia
Everyday I take a stroll Good for body, good for soul Good for you, good for me Supposedly good therapy But as I walk I have a fear About birds above me in the air All on a wire and in a row I know they see me down below Walking on with a bit of haste I could be subjected to birdie waste I could just shoo the birds away But they come back the very next day Shooing would not my problem solve My fear of those small birds above And I know someday on my walk around Their number two it will come down Then and there before my eyes My biggest fear would materialize But I don't blame the birds you see It is the fault of gravity I'll keep walking and chance my fate But the law of averages would dictate That one day as I round the loop I'll be victimized by birdie poop When the inevitable happens I'll give them space And do my laps at Pasadena Place Free from the dread of birds on a wire I'll walk and walk until I tire Gary Rideout Pasadena, NL Submitted By: NULL
