Good Cripes not sure to write in the location.Where I am now or where I came from.
When I am writing here my feet are grounded in Alberta but part of my Soul is around The Bay.
I am not sure of the validity of this one as it was told to me by an Old Steward.
Anyway this young Newfoundlander from out around Bay Roberts was raised on his Father’s Pig farm and he decided to join the Navy and see the World.His Grades were not the best so he decided on being a Steward.One of his duties was serving Officer’s there Meals.
Well to make it Short.He got fed up with seeing the World through a Port Hole and Long Days at Sea.He wrote his Father and decided to Quit or as we say up home(Jack it Up)
So he put in his Release Request and he had to appear before the Ship’s Executive Officer or known to the Crew as (The Jimmy) They had a good repore as he served the XO his meals everyday
and felt safe to be on the level with him.The XO short for Executive Officer asked what he planned on doing when he moved back to the Rock.He replied.Same thing as I am doing now.

As luck would have our Good Bayman with some maturity decided to sign on the dotted line again.
This time with a different Trade.He arrived on board his New Ship and The XO is now his Ship’s Captain.When he signed in The Old Man welcomed him Onboard.Asked with a Grin.Sloppin Pigs again are We?
I hope it was true,I can see it happening.Sounds like something Yours truly would say.
