Dear Downhome; In May issue 2011, Cavelle Rose sent a picture of a rock formation located at the North Atlantic Refining Site in Come By Chance. You asked if there were more unusual rock formations on the island. Yes, there are - I have a picture of an unusual rock formation similar to Cavelle's picture. Its location is in the small community of Sweet Bay, located just down the shore from Nolan's Beach. I have been walking that beach for a number of years, admiring that rock formation either from the beach or out in boat. I took this picture this summer while fishing (food fishery). Nobody seems to know any name given to this rock. Maybe some readers might have some information on this rock formation at Sweet Bay.   Submitted By: NULL
