Ocean Poem
I was sitting here last Thursday looking at the fog here in Ottawa and thinking of events in my life. For some reason I decided to write these words and as a regular reader of your magazine I was told to send it to you from fellow east coasters. I think we have all thought that way one time in our life. Since I have no clue about writing poems, maybe you can decide about it.
I hear the ocean crash on the shores, as the waves crash on my heart.
For the waves have taken the one I love and has left my heart in broken parts.
I hear the waves call me back to the ocean, as it always has.
For the ocean is my true love, she will never break my heart.
