We passed the other ferry coming back from Norris Point about halfway across. The ferry is built so that the cars drive right through, so the first car on is the first car off; the cars are placed two abreast. You are looking out into the Gulf of St. Lawrence; if you have really good eyesight, you should see Labrador. A photo we came across that depicts an adventure my grandparents - P.G. & Nellie Tipping - went on with Alex & Lillian Myrden (all from Corner Brook) in Nov. 1964. After deciphering the scribble "Pop" Tipping wrote on the back of the photo, I find the ferry quite interesting. The ferry is at Woody Point and Norris Point. Picture taken by P.G.
