No Place Like Newfoundland
No Place Like Newfoundland
Mountains crown her landscape,
Surrounded by the sea.
Rugged beauty like nowhere else,
As far as the eye can see.
Granite cliffs as old as time,
Her trees are evergreen.
Natural beauty from east to west,
The air is fresh and clean.
Crystal clear her rivers run,
Wide-open spaces abound.
Search your soul in solitude,
Cause there’s no one else around.
When I am away too long,
I’m longing to go home.
There is no place like Newfoundland
No matter where I roam.
