I will be 80 years of age on the 10th of April. I enjoy writing, and I would love to win the laptop, but then, so would others. The Downhome is a very interesting magazine, I really enjoy the stories. Keep up the good work.

Our beautiful Island Home,

We have our four Seasons,
Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall.
The invitation is extended,
You'll be welcomed, One and All.

We're well-known for our kindness,
We've been told we're a fine jolly bunch.
Don't wait to be invited
You're welcome, come on in for lunch.

Now it may be just coffee or tea,
Homemade bread, or a lassy bun
Whatever it is, you'll be welcomed
After food, a chat and lots of fun.

Later on you'll have a Jigg's dinner,
Salt meat with veggies and Figgy Duff.
You can always have seconds
That's if you haven't enough.

Sit back, relax for a cuffer (story)
