Newfoundland
A poem written by my son.
Newfoundland
Not many know of this rugged land,
Eastern Canada is where it lies.
Where the sea is clear, with gulls everywhere,
From the water up to the skies.
Outport communities line these shores,
Unknown to most mankind.
Not much city life, although,
Don't think excitement is hard to find.
Large parks are here for adventure,
And beaches with vast stretches of sand.
Now, if you think this is nothing important,
Don't underestimate our Newfoundland.
