Newfie Christmas tree
My wife wanted to try something different with a Christmas tree this year. She decided on a Newfoundland Theme. While I was home last summer I went to all the craft shops I could find and collected as many traditional Newfoundland product souvenirs and then we ordered little Purity trinkets from the lady that makes the Mummers statues. Put all this on the tree and surround it with her collection of Mummers and here you have it. Dale's Newfie Christmas Tree. Would sure make a great cover photo for December or January. Even the story to go with it and lots of photos of the decorations on the tree, including an oil-skin clad fisherman waving a Newfoundland flag for a tree top angel. Submitted By: Clarence Strickland
