I live in Fort McMurray and travel 4.5 hours away to camp at a privatly owned campgound, Willowbend Resort. Due to the lack of rain and the Slave Lake fires, there was a complete province-wide fire ban on all open fires. Well, where do people gather if not at the fire? During one of those weekends, a fellow camper came up with an idea and placed Xmas lights in the firepit around a stack of wood...and voila our fire...to which everyone gathered all weekend long.
