I travelled to Newfoundland in the summer of 2009, spent one month on your island. I drove the coastal highway in a capped pickup truck with camping equipment. I visited in-laws in Kippens and the Northern Peninsula (Rocky Harbour to L'Anse aux Meadows). I enjoyed St. John's, the gannet reserve at St. Mary's, and the rugged, harsh, beautiful country.
I do not receive your magazine, but read it faithfully. A friend of mine receives it - Kay Lilly. She spent many summers in Little Burnt Bay with her husband Neil (deceased 2013).
I truly enjoyed my trip and am returning in June (2014) for a vacation. Looking forward to that.   Submitted By: NULL
