Navy Day 100th Anniversary in Cupids
I recently moved to Cupids, Newfoundland and with great pleasure I have enjoyed meeting many people. I have went fishing and have taken part in a few Newfoundland traditions, and have also hiked the rugged landscape. On this day I was overjoyed and proud to see the Navy battleship "St. John's" anchored into beautiful Cupids harbour to celebrate with the townspeople. I took this picture, for all to see, of the Navy ship in behind its sailors standing at attention, holding ontp the Queen's flag. This was a proud moment. A great debt of gratitude to all those sailors who helped to make Cupids residents have a great day! Submitted By: vicki kell
