Name That Tessier!
Just reading the December issue of Downhome (a wonderful magazine). I would be lost without it. I can hardly wait for each issue to arrive; I pass it on to a friend, who in turn passes it on to someone from Gander. Now they have a subscription, so it goes to someone else, and so on. Could any of your readers please identify the lady in the picture? She is the daughter of a Mrs. Bertha Tessier, who once lived on Waterford Bridge Road and Tessiers Lane. (On Waterford Br. Rd, where the Whale Bones were at the entrance with the iron gates.) She had several brothers and sisters. One sister was Mrs. William (Beatrice) Herder. William Herder was once the owner of The Telegram, I believe; they lived on Waterford Br. Rd across from the cemetery. It would be a very big help to us if someone could identify this picture.
