My spirit has been found
Life was a carnage,
to fight and endure,
without seduction,
or particular allure.
Til death clutched my heart,
in its bony embrace,
and forced a surrender,
to life's daunting race.
Sorting with clarity,
life's follies made in haste,
rectifying wrongs,
and reclaiming the chase.
Carrying me to victory,
to claim my rightful place,
among the living souls,
who set life's pace.
Spreading my wings,
with faith taking flight.
Soaring through life,
without limits or plight.
Climbing the mountains,
life's handed to me,
finding my spirit,
and setting me free.
