My 16-year-old dog (Jake) has lost all sense of smell, hearing and has very little vision. My son put him out to do his business the other day and forgot that he needs to be tied on because he wonders and can't find his way back home. A little while later a police officer called and said that he picked up our dog on the highway and was bringing him home. Thank goodness that he had his name and phone number on his collar! It was such a cute sight seeing the police crusier pull up to our house with my dog sitting pretty in the back seat, happy as can be. The friendly officer brought him through Tim Horton's drive-thru to get a treat before he brought him home. Talk about above and beyond! We are so happy to have our Jake home safe and sound.   Submitted By: norma organ
