I went back home, late last year
and what I saw, made me shed a tear
gawd I wish I had never left here
my home surrounded by water.

As a child I didn't see,
the beauty that was holding me
nor music from its roaring sea
my home surrounded by water

Committed now I can't go back
but love for it I'll never lack
sweet dreams I'll have and that's a fact
of my home surrounded by water.
