My Dad
This is a younger pic of my Dad, Aubrey Lambe Sr. not sure what year it was taken. He made our home in Roundabout, a little community on the Burin Peninsula between the Town of Lawn & Lord's Cove and then was Resettled to the Town of Lawn in 1968. He was a part time fisherman and a miner at St. Lawrence Flourspar mine until he had to give it up in 1973 when he was diagnosed with the miners disease and passed away in Jan 1975 at the early age of 47. He was married to Gertrude Fitzpatrick of St. Lawrence and they raised 5 boys and 3 girls, with my Mom Gertrude passing away in 1986 at age 56. He was a Big Volunteer also in his Town and for the catholic church. He was loved and appreciated by his family members and other people around him. Submitted By: THOMAS LAMBE
