Moose Grow on Trees?
Here in northern Ontario you can phone the Ontario Provincial Police office and put your name on the road kill list. If a moose gets killed on the highway, you could get a phone call to go clean it up, and if the meat is any good you can keep it. So my husband did just that and his first call came at 1 a.m. He and our youngest son went to get it. The meat was good, so they had to clean it there on the side of the road. Sadly, the female moose had been carrying twins at the time of its death. The next day we were telling our friends about this pregnant moose that was killed and their son, who was about six or seven, asked my husband if he had kept the twins. He said no and the boy replied, "But you could have planted them and had a moose tree grow!" Submitted By: NULL
