Mom, Please Tuck Me In!
He says every night or he can’t get to sleep at all
I have to remind myself that one day he won’t even be making this call
Or holding my hand when we cross the street
All I have to do is think of this and I weep
He’ll grow up one day and my little boy will be a young man
I’ll be happy and sad at the same time, any Mom could understand
He won’t want to snuggle right beside me on the couch
I should think of this when I’m touchy and being a grouch
I know one day I won’t be his #1 and he’ll get a girl
But he’ll always be my best boy in the whole wide world!
