Micmac Festival
| Micmac Festival at Conne River — Father Pacifique Warmly Welcomed
The postponed feast of the Micmac tribe in honor of their patron St Ann took place at the Conne River encampment on August 10th. Father Pacifique, the great missionary of the tribe was given an enthusiastic reception on his arrival. The poor Indians cried with joy to meet with a Padlian who could talk with them in their own tongue. Western Star 25 Aug 1909
