On my visit to Rocky Harbour I saw this moose on the side of the road. I immediately stopped my car and quietly got out to take a picture.

I was so surprised to see him go down on his knees and begin to eat. He continued to eat even though he was very aware of my presence. His eyes would look at me as he ate. People told me I should send this picture to you to enter it in the photo contest because I have been told this is amazing.

Not only do people find peace in beautiful Gros Morne, but wild animals as well. This speaks volumes for our culture.
