Meanderings of Lucky
Tail flicking me in the face,
Tortoise shell hair all over the place,
How can I read this poetry,
With her intercepting me?
Gently pushing her away,
Then with my mouse she has to play,
Then when the beam hits her eye,
All four feet leap to the sky.
As she comes down she lands on the floor,
But wait a minute she plans some more,
Her meanderings are not over yet,
Up to the scanner, leaps this pet.
As if this isn’t enough for one day,
Behind the printer to hide away,
What’s to be done with this little cat,
She wants to be wherever I’m sat.
Finally deciding to settle down,
She looks at me with a surly frown,
How come you have no time for me,
But all this time for your poetry?
