We are currently living in Shearwater,NS. But we are from Burnt Islands NL. We went home on vacation during the food fishery and was out in the boat one evening. we saw something surfacing the water. So Matthews dad steamed a little closer and it was a sea turtle. There we were out in the boat with no camera. Matthew was more than excited to see a sea turtle as he loves ocean animals and is always reading books about them.. He told me he was so happy he could cry. Anyway the turtle disappeared and we continued to fish and a few seconds later Mathhew said he a bite. We helped him pull it up the line thinking it would be a cod fish. But we had a fish on that we never see before. Both sets of Matthews grandfathers did no know what kind it was. So we came home and looked it up on the internet and found out that it was a polit fish that follows turtles, sharks and other big sea creatures... Matthew was over joyed... He says he cannot wait to go back to school to tell his friends..
