Marshmallow Money
I took my great-granddaughter Abbigail, who was four years old at the time, to the supermarket. She spotted a bag of marshmallows and asked if she could have them. I said sure. Well, about four aisles over she eyed the larger ones and mentioned it to me. I said, “Well Abbigail, they cost more.” Then she shouted very loudly, “Well. Have you got the money?!” At that moment everyone looked at us and I turned every colour of the rainbow.
