I was a longtime subscriber up until a couple of years ago when I became a bit of a vagabond between Newfoundland and Nova Scotia, but now I am settled again and receiving your fine magazine. While I was going through a box of old photographs from my boyhood days in Harbour Grace back in the late '50s and early '60s, I came across this one. The photo is of Sea Cadets marching in Harbour Grace circa 1960, but I know not who they are.

PS: On page 27 of the March 2009 issue, a photo entitled "The Rock" is quite visible from my hometown, Harbour Grace 'hill,' Lady Lake Road. It did look like the Island until the same storm that sank the Ocean Ranger knocked most of the Northern Peninsula into the bay.   Submitted By: NULL
