Mad Rock
I enjoyed the very wintry beginning to spring along the Bay Roberts Shoreline Heritage Walk. I saw the old root cellars, which were the only way to store vegatables, berries and preserves for the long winter. The waves crashing along the shore made it very clear how the rocks out from Spaniard's Point got the name "Mad Rock." Even the wildlife was pairing up to greet the coming spring. I hope you enjoy.
