I have enclosed a photograph of a potato…a heart-shaped potato! When I was peeling potatoes for supper on Valentine’s Day, Feb 14th, 2012 I found this in the potato bag. What a nice, “relevant” surprise! (The potato has not been altered in any way.)

My family, especially my three grandchildren, thought it was great and they keep encouraging me to send it to Downhome. I promised them I could and here it is. I hope you will find a place in your wonderful magazine to publish it. (Erin, Emily & Daniel will be so excited if you do this.) I enjoy your magazine!
