Love is in the Air
I'm not one to publicly share pictures of my kids but this one has so captured my heart and essence of childhood in Labrador, I've been easily coaxed to share with your magazine. This was taken 31st May after a stroll to Point Amour. My daughter, Raine, eventually fell asleep as I meandered through L'anse Amour reading information signs, smelling the salt air, taking photos of the rock formations. Once to the lighthouse in Point Amour, I woke her up taking her out of the stroller and plunked her down on the redberry bushes in front of the magnificent Strait of Belle Isle with small icebergs drifting by, birds chirping in the air and a warm soft breeze blowing in our faces. Well! She was sooo excited and invigorated with every element kissing her 5 senses. It was a memory I'll cherish for my lifetime. I think I have good company for the upcoming berrypicking season!
