As Downhome travels the world, it seems a good way to locate a friend of old. In November 1951, my sister Dorothy and I left St. John's, having joined the RCAF; we were accompanied by Theresa (Terry) Nash. Terry was around 24, had grown up in an orphanage in St. John's, and had worked for the Salvation Army after finishing her secretarial course. We were in Aylmer, Ontario for our three-month clerical training, and Terry and I became good friends. When we graduated and were sent to different stations, we never met again. I was reminded of Terry since subscribing to Downhome, and would love to hear from her, or someone who has known her. We were known as the Dooling girls, Mary and Dot, from Goulds, NL.
