Dear Ron; I just wanted to send this photo with the history of the lighthouse included. My late father, Michael Patrick Maddox of Grand Falls, built the lighthouse for the Labour Day parade for the paper mill in 1968. After the parade it was in our back garden for five years until Mr. Ray Keats wore my father down to sell it to him so he could put it out on the point at Badger Lake. I was lucky enough to be remembered by Mr. Keats who invited me to go see it. For five years it was my playhouse with friends. The original plywood is covered vinyl siding but remains below. The top is still original as are the doorway and windows.
