This is a photo I took several years ago while on vacation from Toronto, ON. Wile driving out Station Road in Lewisporte I was bemused by the unusual sige: a Sop sign and a green light at the intersection of Staion Rd. and Main St. Since I had been driving in Toronto for about 15 years, I "stopped and proceeded with caution" as you would. Only in NFLD! The building in the background is the old Manuels Hotel and Beathuk Room Restaurant which many of your readers will remember staying and eating in while waiting for the coastal boats to points on the northeast coast and Labrador. It was dismanteld several years ago to make room for the new marine wharf.   Submitted By: NULL
