L’Anse aux Meadows – Moose Mayhem
June 1st, 2011
Last year I visited Newfoundland and Labrador, and what a lovely, warm and picturesque province with the friendly locals made it worthwhile for a second visit.
L'Anse aux Meadows - Once again, seeing history from the past is exciting and a tremendous feeling, extremely informative and educational. Hopefully, a second visit will happen in the next few years.
One true story which actually happened: we had a group tour of Sir Wilfred Grenfell's home. A commotion was heard on the back deck. Two moose, a cow and her calf, jumped onto the deck beside the tourists - what a ruckus!
