Lagos Fish Market
We thought the fish market would be a good place to pose with the Downhome magazine. The Lagos fish market is a highly suggested place to visit while in Lagos. It a noisy, smelly environment where you can experience an authentic Portugal vibe as locals buy their fish for supper. We were amazed at the variety of fish and the fish mongers were happy to answer all our questions about the different species -- even though we did not buy anything! At one point, a fish monger said " you might want to back up or you may get fish on you" as she chopped away at a fish! The experience was definately worth it!
