This is a Short little yarn that came to me in the wee small hours of the morning

about an act of kindness.This one was told to me by my Brother In- Law Dave

from Trepassey.Now Dave is Old School like me and was driving home from Town

and did not have his phone with him.Just past Cape Broyle he started having Car

Trouble and Broke down when along came the late Bernard Kavanagh the Owner of

The Restaurant with The Million Dollar View in Ferryland.Bernard was also a friend to my Uncle Vince and helped him get his Grocery Store started in Trepassey.

Bernard was driving his big Motor Home and asked Dave where he was headed.Dave

said Trepassey which is over an hour away and Bernard is almost home himself.

Get in says Bernard I will take You there.Would not take a penny for his Service.

People all along the Shore are like that.Kind of scary to a Come From Away.
