The Top of Africa!!! 19,340 ft! Feeling very Accomplished!:) The hardest thing I ever done in my life!! Not only physically demanding, but mentally I was pushed to my limit. The altitude was a challenge, as I was ascending many climbers were escorted off the mountain with altitude sickness. I feel very lucky being able to adjust to the thin air and push through the cold, 7-hour night hike from base camp to the summit. Overall, an amazing experience, and made all the training and preparation I did this past year worthwhile. The scenery at the top of Kilimanjaro was breathtaking, Tanzania is a beautiful country.   Submitted By:
