In August of 2026 I was fortunate to travel to Trivandrum, Kerala, India with my daughter, her friend and her in-laws. My daughter and her husband were married in June 2026 in Jasper Alberta and decided on another (traditional) wedding in India at the same Temple her mother and father in-law were married. We visited while they were celebrating Onam. This picture was taken at Poovar Island Resort, a ten minute boat ride from Kerala. My August edition of the Downhome magazine was with me all the way! We spent the day at this resort celebrating Onam with my son in law’s family still living in India.
