'In Sept/2003, i had finished my first season working with the Department of Forest Resources and Agrifoods. I decided to travel from Labrador West to Corner Brook on motorcycle via the new labrador road. The weather from Labrador City to Goose Bay was terrible, lots of rain which made driving conditions for a bike difficult. I spent the night in Goose Bay at the North Inn. The following day the Sir Robert Bond set out.It was a night crossing so i didn't get to see a lot but what i did see showed mountains and a rugged land. I had meet two others bikers that rode in from montreal, one from Paris and the other from Germany. They seemed to be enjoying their adventure to the fullest as I and the biker commodery was a great feeling. When i arrived at Cartwright I prepped for another seven hour ride. All ferry traffic by now had gone. About an hour outside of Cartwright I ran into mechanical problems, ' Submitted By: NULL
