I had a once in a life time chance to talk with Jackie Chan..
I met him in Toronto last year at the Film Festival and we both ended up at the same premiere party.
Jackie is a very funny and cheerful man to spend time with..
He loves to joke around, and when I told him I was from NFLD, He wanted to hear all about it..
I told him of living in St.Mary's .St.Mary's Bay where in the spring time you could see the icebergs floating past and of the beautiful site of the ocean and whales just down the hill from where I lived for the first 13 years of my life.
When I told him I was a Mic-Mac Indian on my Moms side he really laughed because he said I looked Irish..
With the red hair and freckles,
I showed him my Indian Status Card.. and told Jackie I was blessed by being from NFLd.
He gave me a few signed pictures for my boys.. Who are big Jackie Chan fans,
A true gentleman
