While visiting their Nanny and Poppy Grant in Burgeo, Newfoundland in July 2011, Mara (age 11) and her brother Joshua (age 9) could not wait to get out on the lake in Poppy's new boat that he built. The boat didn't even make it to the water when they jumped in, put on their life jackets and were ready to go.
