It Might Be Spring
I see progression of the sun
In where it sets far up the bay
From King's Cove out to Western Head
Advancing with each passing day
Towards a hopeful spring
From parlor window facing west
We watched each passing winter's day
And anxiously awaited spring
As sunset slowly made its way
Towards a salty sea
The days are longer than they were
The sun sometimes is shining bright
And when it sets into the sea
Out past the head, in orange light
Then perhaps it might be spring
