If I Were A Hammer
If I were a hammer,I'd hammer all night
I'd hammer the walls, out of sheer spite
keep the neighbors all up,without any sleep
till even the strongest can't stand on their feet
If I were a hammer,I'd hammer their gates
I'd hammer their bedposts, till they are awake
when the beighbors start yelling,I'd hammer the floor
and if they don't like it I'd hammer some more.
But a hammer I'm not and hammer I shan't
to hammer all night,I know that I can't
I'll go to my house, shut tight every door
to think of hammering, just makes my head sore.
