Have taken a few icebergs shots over the last 50 plus years, but never in February month. So unusual, I just had to steam up to the berg this afternoon, just to capture a few close up shots. Mouth of Moreton's Harbour, New World Island, February 23, 2025. As I said, have thousands of iceberg photos in my portfolio, but never ever saw a berg in our bay this early. With most iceberg photos you never see the icicles frozen on the shore as in the second shot.
