Iceberg at Dunfield
A friend has sent me a subscription to Downhome, and I'm really enjoying it. There are so many interesting articles, yummy recipes and beautiful photos. The Downhome Traveller has given me lots of ideas for places to visit. I can hardly wait to see where you go each month. What a great little magazine! I grew up in Nova Scotia, but lived in St. John's and Labrador City in the 60s. I have been back to NL on several occasions since. Last July, I experienced lots of "Newfoundlandia" - the capelin were rolling, the Dunfield iceberg appeared, the fog seemed more dramatic than I remembered and, last but not least, the people made me feel so at home - kind, patient and lots of fun!
